Panels of judges will interview the six Club representatives at the Florence Club on Saturday, Feb. 24, to select who will represent Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area at the State Event.
Corporate supporters, club members, and others will gather to congratulate the six individuals during the Annual Steak-N-Burger Dinner on Tuesday, March 5, at First Presbyterian Church, 700 Park Ave., Florence.
Alumni will share what the Club means to them, and attendees will have a chance to learn more about our Clubs from 100 youth members from across the six Pee Dee sites, Florence, Hartsville, Hemingway, Lake City, Pamplico, and Timmonsville.
Adults enjoy a hamburger dinner alongside what often is the youth’s first steak dinner. Each table consists of adults and Club members for this unique learning opportunity.
The night culminates with the award of the Carraway Turner Leadership Fund Scholarships. For tickets to the event or to donate to the scholarship fund, visit https://bit.ly/steaknburger24.
