During the Annual Meeting, Executive Director Neal Zimmerman presented a Frankie Award to Florence School District 3 Superintendent Dr. Laura Hickson. He called her “integral to the Lake City Club’s success.”

Thanks to her involvement, for 10 years, at least 80 kids a day have had four to five weeks of summer transportation, certified teachers, supplies, and equipment at no cost to the kids and a supplement to the Club’s budget. 

During COVID, the district provided Internet hotspots at the Club for us to stay open and connected while upgrades were made as well as resources allowing the Club to remain open all day for pandemic studies. THANK YOU!
