Hartsville American Legion Post 53
The monthly meeting of the Hartsville American Legion Post 53 and our associated Auxiliary Unit occurs on the third Tuesday of each month. The meeting begins at 6:30pm with some time to socialize followed by business meetings at 7:00pm. Membership in the American Legion is open to honorably discharged veterans, military retirees, and those currently serving in the armed forces including the National Guard and active/inactive Reserves. American Legion Auxiliary membership is open to the spouses of those eligible to join the American Legion. The four purposes of the American Legion are to help veterans, help children and youth, promote Americanism, and promote a strong National defense.
