Event Calendar

This summer the Florence County Museum’s Education Department invites educators of all content areas to recharge, create, reflect, and explore through an art class designed just for them. Explore printmaking, watercolor, observational drawing, illustrated reflective journaling and arts-based mindfulness practices. No arts experience is required!
Facilitated by artist and arts therapist Elizabeth Graham Anderson, participants will be exposed to strategies she uses in her practice when working with students and adults.
This project is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. This project is supported by funding provided to the South Carolina Arts Commission from a partnership with the S.C. Department of Education from American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) funds.
