Artist Reception for Jim Gleason's exhibit A Study in Brass
In a quiet corner of Florence, South Carolina, lives a man fluent in creativity who opens the doors to whimsical worlds, inviting others to join him in seeing in new ways. These are worlds that Jim Gleason creates as easily as he breathes.
Jim Gleason: A Study in Brass is an exhibit for young and old alike. It is designed to let you relax. Let go of the cares of the day and simply enjoy the fanciful pieces before you. It is an ideal introduction to the art world for those who don’t think galleries are their thing.
So, mark your calendars for Jim Gleason: A Study in Brass. Hosted by the Francis Marion University Steven F. Gately Gallery at 142 N. Dargan Street in Downtown Florence, the show will run from June 4 to July 26 with the artist’s reception, Thursday, June 13th at 5:30 p.m. Gleason will also be available on Saturday, June 15th from 10 AM to 3 PM for a drop-in meet-and-greet.
Admission is always free.
