Florence Food & Wine Festival
Celebrate the foodways of the Pee Dee region of South Carolina at Florence Wine & Food. Headlined this year by chef and G&G columnist Vivian Howard, the gathering features ten culinary events, including a Grand Tasting in partnership with Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, in which multiple city blocks host chefs, farmers, distillers, winemakers, brewers and specialty food makers.
Choose amongst various unique gatherings, including Meat & Meander, a bluegrass kickoff party centered on all things smoked, grilled, and slow-roasted, or join the intimate Signature Dinners hosted by Florence restaurants. During the Sip + Savor Wine Stroll, discover downtown Florence’s independent retailers as they transform into tasting rooms or test your vino knowledge at Napa Valley 101, a tutorial from Ray Isle, executive wine editor of Food & Wine. The festival’s glamorous finale closes out the multi-day event with Florence chefs preparing Howard’s most influential recipes during a seated dinner on Saturday evening.
