Event Calendar

Homecoming 2024 will be the biggest and best ever. We have events both Friday evening February 23rd, as well as tailgating on Saturday, Feb. 24th. Downtown on Friday evening, we will have a Downtown Homecoming Eve Alumni Reception. This reception will be held at University Place, inside the Gately Gallery.

This reception will be business casual in keeping with the atmosphere of the art gallery where it will be held. There will be heavy appetizers and your favorite beer and wine. There is a limited number of tickets for this event; get yours soon as you are able, as they will sell out. This is the perfect launchpad for the remainder of your Homecoming Eve celebrations downtown, as we will begin at 6 pm and end at 8 pm.

Saturday morning, you will wake up to begin your Homecoming Tailgate preparations and come to the grounds behind the university center to join thousands of fellow alumni and friends. Don't have time to cook or prepare? No problem, we have invited select food trucks and vendors that you purchase your favorite foods on-site. Participation in tailgating is free; however, if you would like a space, there is a small fee but be sure to make your reservation here online today. Be sure to take advantage of our special 2-for-1 price tailgate special before they are gone. Space is limited. The tailgating grounds open at 11 am for vehicle traffic and close to vehicle traffic from 1-5 pm. During that time, there should be assistance in transporting your tailgating supplies to your space in university utility vehicles as they are available. Our number one priority for the weekend and especially tailgating is that everyone is safe and respectful to others. *For details regarding the tailgating regulations, be sure to read the description in the ticketing area. In addition to food vendors, we will also have college and greek life vendors for you to purchase your favorite items while you are here. As a special treat, we will have Official Alumni swag in limited quantity on-site that day.
